Girls that Scuba Trips Cancellation Policy

We hope you are never in the position you need to cancel your trip, but if something occurs, this is our cancellation policy for Girls that Scuba Trips.

Please READ CAREFULLY. By booking any Girls that Scuba Trip, you agree to this cancellation policy without exception. Cancellation for any reason on your side is subject to these terms. There are no exceptions to this policy.

We do not tolerate abusive communication regarding our cancellation policy

Travel insurance is required on all of our trips – take a look at insurance with cancellation coverage.

Deposits

Deposits are non-refundable with no exceptions. Due to this, travel insurance is required on all our trips that covers you in case you need to cancel for any reason. This way you are still able to collect a refund from your travel insurance. We recommend using Dive Assure’s Travel & Dive Insurance plans.

If you change your mind about joining a trip within 48 hours of your booking, we can return your deposit minus any bank fees.

Part and Full payments

If you need to cancel once you have made a part or full payment, your deposit is still non-refundable, however, we can return a part of your balance within a certain time period.

60 days before the trip starts: No refund

61 days [inclusive] +: We will try our best to re-sell your spot. If we are able to re-sell your spot we can transfer your balance minus the deposit to Girls that Scuba trips credit (valid for 2 years) to use on another trip or we can refund you. If we cannot re-sell your spot, no credit or refund is available.

If you have booked a space on a trip that departs within 60 days or less (usually because of a cancellation and you signed up via the waitlist) you will need to pay the full amount, which is non-refundable under the ‘60 days before the trip starts: No refund’.

There is no flexibility in this policy due to how the operators we work with have changed their policies following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Girls that Scuba Trips Credit

If you have transferred any of your balance into trip credit, it is valid for 2 years from the date you had confirmation of your credit. If you have not claimed your credit within the 2-year date the credit is then removed.

Credit Transferred Into Deposit

If you previously had credit with us and transferred that credit to a deposit to secure your place on a new trip, your credit is no longer transferable again and becomes a non-refundable deposit

Fuel Surcharge

Due to the increased prices in fuel, some liveaboards or boat providers may put their fuel prices up from when you booked to when your trip happens. We aim to let you know as soon as possible if this is the case, however, any price increase in fuel is out of our control.
