Join us next year for a female power training camp

Freediving Camp - for certified freedivers

August 6 - 13th 2021

After the success of our freediving retreats this year and our sold out ones ready for next year we had a lot of girls emailing asking if there were options for certified free divers. We - of course - have always wanted to run a female lead freediving camp so we were so excited by these emails and went about arranging our first ever freedive camp with the beautiful women at Amanacay Freediving!

Please note this camp is for certified freedivers only. Open for any level from and including level 1 and above

Freediving has the power to change lives, the feeling of diving without a tank is simply incredible, and there truly is no other place to do it quite like the cenotes of Yucatan. Alongside a group of empowering women Girls that Freedive will be taking a group of females and helping improve their freedive journey in one of the most magical places on earth... will you be joining us?

Freedive with Whale Sharks

We timed this trip so we could be in Mexico during whale shark season. Each year the whale shark, which is the largest of the fish species, begin to arrive from their annual migration to the warm waters of the Mexican-Caribbean Sea near Cancun/Riviera Maya. The gentle fish can grow around 40 feet in length, weigh 11 tons, and we have the chance to swim alongside them and watch them in all their beauty. But beware - there will be a lot of happy tears, this is truly a once-in-a-lifetime-experience.

  • Private boat for GTFD trip only

Freedive Photography

All these beautiful images you've seen on this article and from our past retreats on our Instagram - are taken by fellow GTS and our good friend Marianna Tombini. She will be joining us for 3 days of photos and fun during our training camp, as well as some behind the scene shots on land.

  • Each girl will get their own set of photos shared to a Google Drive of themselves and group shots.

Four our training camp we have hired a whole boutique hotel with 8 private rooms just for you! We will have this beautiful hotel all to ourselves all week, giving us the chance to run the land-based part of the freedive course in our own time and space, as well as being able to enjoy its 2 pools, yoga area, dining area and outdoor beds all to ourselves!

We will be serving up a fresh local vegetarian breakfast each morning with fresh juices, coffee and food that has come from a local farm straight to your table.

Our hotel is based just outside of Tulum town and we have transportation to take us into town for dinners each night.
